The ANORAK Sewing Pattern [a Low waste design for sizes 00-32, Unisex]

Inspired by the classic anorak, this mid-weight, unlined pull over is a perfect outdoors jacket. The design is unisex, encouraging all to make. Features include a partial zip closure with an extra high collar, a central storage zip pocket, and side hand warming pockets.

As a paperless pattern, all details are provided as templates and are required to be transferred onto the fabric. This requires special attention and thoughtfulness in the prep work as well as the sewing portion of the garment. The garment construction requires intermediate to advanced skills for installing zippers, welt pockets and other details.

The Anorak is a low waste design. While the design is not 100% zero waste, it pushes the boundaries to be as low waste as possible, yielding no more than 5% waste. Some sizes will produce less waste than others. The overall goal of the design is to make a conscious effort to reduce fabric waste whenever possible.
