Slash Tank is a low waste, beginner friendly knit tank and dress design. Its high neck and wide shoulder silhouette gives a modern and sophisticated look. It’s offered in two design variations, a fitted or loose silhouette with the option to add shoulder pads for extra structure. It is offered in the size range 0-30.

Slash Tank is about as simple as it can get and is a perfect beginner pattern for those interested in low waste design and learning to sew with knit fabrics. It’s constructed from 2 pattern pieces with 4 seams and 2 darts. The head and arm openings are ’slashes’ created from its unique assembly.

The goal of the design is to make a conscious effort to reduce fabric and paper waste whenever possible. The overall fabric size is provided with a minimal paper template to fit the armscye, shoulder and bust dart. Some pattern modification may be required.
